But that was a home game and some say they play better at home.

Now for the game last night, I saw some off target throws by Brees and could be from the short week. What I saw I didn't care for was the wasted drive before the half where the offense didn't seem to have much 'geddi-up' to try and get some points on the board.

I heard this as well. They also said their last three games were the loss to the Jets and then San Fran and then last night. What a bafoon Greenberg is. Horrible.

Playing a physical Niner team on a 3:25 start Sunday night then playing last night= a lethargic football team that did what it had to do to win last night. Short week is 100 percent the reason we looked sluggish!!

I just tuned in anticipating some negative insight on my Saints. I never listen to them but I'm up early. All I know is my dad always tells me how dumb these figs are.

Mike Greenberg is your typical dork who always wanted to play sports but was never good enough. He figures that writing about sports is just as badass as playing them.

Every team plays better at home, but we even have one of ( if not the best) road records in the NFL since 2006.

Greenie can't even remember his own words. He said after the Dallas blowout that we're the best team in the NFL when playing in the dome.

The offense hasn't looked particularly sharp in the last two games but... they won so... whatever.

Agree I thought we looked slow and tired, So did the Falcons at times.

I think the Thursday game should be after the bye week for teams.

It's Mike and Mike, of course that's all they'd take from the game

This might actually be the worst sports show on tv.

Truly god awful. I feel like it's ren and stimpy having a football discussion.

His job is way better than yours so I think he's ok with not being a high school legend in his own mind. I don't understand why people take them seriously their show is one big act.

Why do y'all give a shite?

The great thing about the NFL is that opinions mean little because it gets settled on the field.

Well Golic, did you see the game last night between the Saints and Falcons?

Yes Greeny. I watched it while I ate a Johnsonville Sausage. Johnsinville Sausage, the only sausage good enough to be the official sausage of the Mike and Mike Morning show.

That's right Golic. The Saints lost to the Jets a few weeks ago and haven't looked sharp since because that's the last time I've seen them.

Speaking of the Saints, the Allstate player of the game was Pierre Thomas. Allstate for all your insurance needs including auto, home, boat and life insurance. The only insurance good enough to be the official insurance of the Mike and Mike show.

Well Golic, I wasn't able to stay up and actually see the entire game. I was busy watching Jets games from the 1980's all day. What did you think of game?

I was tired from watching Rudy and Notre Dame Football replays, but I was able to stay up with a 5 Hour Energy Shot. 5 Hour Energy, the only energy drink good enough to be the official energy drink of the Mike and Mike Show.

That's right Golic, let's go to the Subway Fresh Take Hotline and see what John Clayton thought of the game...

I expected a tough game last night.

Atlanta is having a bad season, but you can throw out records when you're in a rivalry game.

Atlanta kept it close by keeping the ball out of our Brees' hands.

We nearly put up 400 yards on the road with a 27-33 disadvantage in TOP.
