It's been a long time since we were able to feel good about our season. Let's hope day 251 puts a smile on our face.

That team was good enough to win it all...felt like they never got off the bus at Omaha.

Our pitchers did. Everyone else...

as long as TD Park doesn't play to batters and allows pitchers to make bad mistakes and still shut down bats, teams who win with power and offense will have a tough time in omaha, and teams who play small ball and have great pitchers will be benefited.

It wasn't just the ballpark. LSU did not live and die with the home run. We should have been able to score runs without the home runs.
Having said that, I do agree that Ibarra would have definitely hit at least one home run vs UCLA if TDA park wasn't a canyon.

Offense isn't just HRs. Line drives, timely hitting, and situational hitting we're non-existent in the middle of our lineup

yes but at the same time teams like UCLA where benefited by that stadium.

I think you should pay for leaving 80mph fastballs up in the zone down the middle
Instead they are pop ups
Instead they are pop ups

yep
LSU would have won game 1 if this park was less pitcher friendly. Its still amazing Katz hit that one ball out.

Should have hit a few HR's but like someone stated earlier, in Omaha, they never got off the bus to play. We had holes in our lineup to begin with, it didn't help Bregman was one of the worst in the WS either.

Are HRs the only good offensive result from middle-up, slow FBs?

ball imprint on padding just left of the door!
