Going down there monday to look at a camp I'm probably gonna buy. Had a camp just south of the bridge growing up and we always hit hwy 70 and went through Pierre Part but I haven't been down that way in a couple years and I'm assuming you can't go that way due to the sinkhole.
This new place is just north of the bridge. Will I have to go hwy 404 to 75 and come in from the north or is there a better/quicker way to go?

That route is open and I think still the best route.

Is this the Bayou Pigeon route?

I go that way sometimes just for a change in scenery. Of course you miss beautiful downtown White Castle (and the associated speed trap).

Yes, looks like I'm going that way anyway. The camp I'm going look at is on Vaughn Rd right across from the spillway landing. Google says its quicker than going through pierre part

Be careful not to make a wrong turn and end up in Sorrel
