Clearly I am a numbers guy and Roberts is the superior player by just about any on court measure.
However, I do think Rivers can play a role on this team. He brings energy and enthusiasm (if not always competence) which this team needs. That is valuable and also immeasurable.

Definitely.
I was just curious why so many kept saying Rivers was so superior on D. Numbers don't bare that out.

BUMP IT UP. I called this crap. The Roberts hate is strong with us now and the Rivers love pours out. The patience with Monty is running VERY thin. I made a promise to myself I'd bump this thread when the time came. The time has come. Roberts is now somehow in the starting lineup and Pelicans land proclaimed "WHAT THE FRICK?" as one voice!
