Where has he been all year? He was suppose to be a contributor in the secondary this year, but after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor in August, there hasn't been anything said about him.

quote:

According to LSU head coach Les Miles; Jefferson is expected to see significant playing time this season as a freshman.

He can't be worse than some of the guys in the secondary. Another great job by Miles keeping talented players off the field in order to teach them a lesson. In the meantime, the whole team suffers by less talented players on the field and gets torched every game in the secondary.

I'd rather see Brazil and his speed on the field.

Because so many true freshman can jump in and play safety. Our 5th year senior and junior safeties have trouble with our system and you want to throw someone less experienced in?

OP, dramatic much? Just one of our many fans searching for something to bitch about. Yes, why hasn't he played, legit question, but your reasoning is way off since the RJ getting early playing time was said after his incident leaked. Downvoted your logic.

I hope this is a troll.

Miles can't win with you guys. If he plays Jefferson then he runs ThugU if he benches him then "Another great job by Miles...".

+1

Setting freshman up to fail is a bad idea when you have other options.

No. It was a response to the OP's suggestion.

It is my understanding that he has played a series or two in a couple of the early season blow outs. If true, then Miles does deserve some bashing because what is the point of not redshirting a kid when he is only getting about 15 meaningless snaps on the year?

He needs to stay out of trouble first.

He played against UAB, Kent St, MSU, and Furman. When he's playing a big role next year you would be saying why didn't we get Jefferson any snaps last year instead of redshirting.

We should have started 5 freshmen on the defense this year. Rather lose with young talent and get them experience

Rashard Robinson makes one small mistake and they pull him. 2 passes later, touchdown
