He obviously doesn't give a frick because he'll be out of town after the season with a big new contract.

Running back Ben Tate had some tough words for Texans fans.
They booed so loudly during the 28-23 loss at Reliant Stadium that the Texans had to go to a silent-count on offense (something usually reserved for road games).
“These fans here in Houston are so up and down and so wishy-washy,” Tate said. “I’m just shocked at that because this organization has come a long way.
“I just feel like if you’re a true fan, you stick with the team through the tough times and we’re going through a tough time right now.”

Ben is a quiet guy. He has a right to talk.
But I think fans that paid for tickets and are still going to games have every right to boo a bad product.

Losing at home to the Raiders (again ) , I'd boo them too.

Has he been that great of a running back?

How ab Andre Johnson: "Are you happy being a part of this franchise?" "I'm under contract."
Posted on 11/18/13 at 11:03 am to Sampson
Sad stuff. I feel horrible for Andre.

He's right. Its dumb arse people that don't support their players. Schaub is a great example. He hasn't said/or done anything off the field to warrant any boos just because he's in the game and has an incomplete pass, yet they boo him as if he's Mark Sanchez or Jordan Jefferson. I don't understand that. There are plenty of reason why the Texans aren't doing well right now, and if you're going to boo the QB, then you're going to have to boo the whole team. I think we know the bandwagon fans will be stepping down for awhile, thank goodness.

Except they've been booing since week 3. This isn't just starting this week. They cheered when Schaub got hurt in week 5 was it? Like WTF assholes, we were still very much in contention and they still bitch and moan like one loss is the end of the world. I have friends who are text me "OMG we suck" if we don't score a TD. I think they need a complete overhaul by this point, and I think they should do AJ a favor and send him to a contender. Send him to Indianapolis. IDGAF that they're in our division. It's rebuilding time in HOU.

This is what happens when you start a season 2-8. It isn't a Houston thing. You're getting paid millions of dollars and your product stinks. They are 4 and 12 in their last 16 games and they have too much talent to stink that bad. This is a team that started 11-1 last year. I don't think any city is different... at least we haven't gotten the paper bags over our heads in full force yet.

Texans fans are horrible.
Spoiled brats. Dumb fans.
They all think Keenum is the answer.
Texans are dumb to sign him tho. Hard to bench a hometown kid.

As a Texans fan, I can agree with this. The majority of people you see at games know little to nothing about football. Hence the booing after every incomplete pass. It's actually embarrassing to be associated with.

Spoiled how?

He's not terrible actually. Nice mobility to get outside the pocket, something Schaub can't do. It's also nice to see a QB throw to receivers rather than check down to TEs and RBs every play.

Wasn't hard last season.
Schaub hadn't played well, then got hurt. Yates has proved that he's not an NFL qb. Again, Keenum hasn't played terrible.

It's crazy how Houston built, built, built, built, built, and finally it looked like this was their breakthrough year.
Then everything comes crashing down in a fantastic fashion.
Really, nobody could have seen this coming. It's quite incredible.
The closest example I can think of is the Portland Trailblazers from about 6 years ago when Oden got hurt, Roy got hurt, and all of their potential and promise just went down the crapper and BAM they're in rebuilding mode again.
