You can't just bring someone down by grabbing their neck and expect to get away with it.

Definitely has him by the facemask. The ref was standing right behind Brees and was able to catch that view. That was the right call.

The other gif that is circulating is looking from the front and it stops at the moment of impact. But what happens afterwards is the worst part. frick Brooks, Harbaugh and Kaepernick. Hit to the chest my arse.
I took this from the video on the Yahoo mainpage. If someone could a gif out of it from this angle, it this it will shut some people up.

Thanks for the pictures. That went from a personnel foul to brooks should be fined for that. I have seen hits less severe than that fined.

The niners did. I give them credit. They made a play, but they're were dumb about it. Brees didn't see it coming. You don't need to go high like that.

Ironically, it was pretty much the only play they really got an overwhelming rush on Brees all day.

he looked pretty good on the game-winning drive, so I think he's OK. I think he even grew an inch or two from the hit.
