What are the chances he leads the SEC in blocks per game this season?
Right now he is #1 at 5.5 blocks per game.
#2 is Aaron Jones of Ole Miss at 2.5 blocks per game.

He's already good, but he has a lot of potential, still. His wingspan , Like 7'3, and his athletic ability sneaks up on people, and why he's going to get a lot of blocks. Can't wait till he start getting some of those free throw line dunks in transition...

Love what I've seen so far thunder.
He still has some things to learn overall defensively. As you know blocking shots, like steals can be misleading sometimes when evaluating overall defensive value.
But it's good to have that threat at the goal. Gets in other teams heads.
But he's as good as advertised so far. I think Quarterman still needs some time and I suspect Martin will require some patience too, but I think in time they will come around.
I was impressed with Malone in limited minutes.

He's good. The best thing is he isn't a one and done player but you never know (tyrus Thomas) He has some skills but needs further developing. Really good timing on blocking shots

Shot blocking is all about timing, and Jordan Mickey has that. Same trait that Tyrus Thomas had when he was here. It's something you can't teach, you either have it or don't.

I think wingspan and vertical have a little help too

That really close dunk he had Saturday night was awe inspiring. If he had landed it the pmac would have exploded.

Got away with a walk, but for pure athleticism it was very impressive.
