Look at what we did to Auburn? Sure it was early in the season and they have improved, but you can't tell me playing SEC opponents in night games at home doesn't make a big difference

LSU doesn't have a choice. As members of the Southeastern Conference, they have to abide by the asinine TV contract that the SEC has with CBS. CBShite gets first choice for their 230 pm time slot. They only have the prime time night game once a year. What bothers me is that NOBODY at LSU has the balls to put forth a legitimate protest on behalf of the fans who want night games. Alleva has Snow Peas down there. Broadhead was the type that would actually make an effort to do something. I can see him telling the SEC that LSU will not move any games to afternoon for TV and if you don't like it, file a lawsuit against us, fine us, whatever, we aint movin the games.

Yes, I'm sure LSU has the leverage to tell CBS and the SEC to F-off, we're just playing night games. But hey, why shouldn't LSU forego the millions upon millions it is allocated from the TV contract the SEC has with the networks? The fans can cover the losses, right?

The 230 CBS games are nonnegotiable; it's an honor to be chosen for them

it is ridiculous how much Florida has dominated the SEC on CBS. 61 wins with a .709 win %. Next closest is Alabama with 37 wins and a .544 win %. 3rd? LSU with 36 wins and a .545 win %. (as of week 11 2013)

As soon as we get far enough into the season that it likely won't be 90+ degrees at kickoff, the 230 games are way better.

The new 6p start time that ESPN is using is nice too, and should be the default IMO.
