Saints only team in Top 5 scoring on offense and defense

Saints: 2nd O, 5th D
For reference here's how a few of the other top teams match up.
Denver: 1st O, 25th D
KC: 14th O, 1st D
Chicago: 3rd O, 27th D
Seattle: 6th O, 3rd D
NE: 8th O, 7th D
49ers: 10th O, 4th D
Indy: t-11th O, 10th D
We all get that our D has saved us some this year but all those idiots on TV can only praise the offense on this team. It's a close race between the Saints, Seahawks, and Pats with the 49ers (LOLFENSE) as the most well rounded teams in the league.
**I'm sure it's been brought up a few times on here. I'm bored this morning. Just a few fun stats before the big game tomorrow

They got hot but looking at their schedule, they've scored less than 10 THREE TIMES this season.
Not just inconsistent but those were probably the only teams they've played with a pulse of a defense outside of Arizona. GB meh.

We winning that ship this year boys. Starting to get that special feeling about this year.
If we can run the ball against this Niners D, I think that's really gonna be the last test for this team. If we can do that....man, watch out.

Haha I got ripped this offseason when I said our d finishes 10-12.

I'm with you. I laughed at the notion of a top 5 D. I even semi chuckled at Top 10. I think I was guessing somewhere 12-13 looking back. Not many people could predict this much of a change in D. I think the new scheming was what fit this D much better. Either way,

Before the year started, I said I'd be thrilled with a top 15 defense, but I was expecting something around the 20's.

I mean, how can you just expect the WORST DEFENSE IN HISTORY to all of a sudden be top 10? 
It's awesome it happened, but anyone who says they honestly believed that was just a lucky guess.
