How in the hell is trey quinn not a 5 star or a high 4

Just had an arguement with a friend who said he is just not 5 star material. Well i beg to differ!! They said its all because he has a really good qb. And that he is short which is why he is not a 5. I reminded them real quick that jarvis landry was a 5 star same build and did not come close to running what quinn can run as far as speed. What do yall think

Just goes to show you how the difference between top 5 recruiting classes can mean very little because it's not like all guys are ranked accurately. Certainly not an exact science.

Being totally honest I've asked this to several guys that were on the camp circuit with him in different capacities. Trouble with the jam is what I was told by all at different times.
It must just be in camps because everytime I've seen him he's been an absolute monster.

Good pocket passing quarterbacks make good WRs. But hey everyone wants a dual threat quarterback.

Fontenot is absolutely a dual threat. He's very mobile and keeps plays going all the time.

JJ27, the college coaches disagree with you. He has gotten his camp offers from one on one performances and beating press coverage. I am not going to speculate on the star system, it is what it is. This guy has seen every kindkind of coverage imaginable, as well as everybody's best defenders, which has made it all the more special!

They don't disagree with me because I don't agree with the assessment. I think he's a very special player. Just telling you what I was told when I asked why in the world he wasn't a 5 star.

So true... Jarvis landry was a 5-star with lesser stats, but similar skill set.
However, they knew landry was all polish and skill.
Quinn has that same polish and skill, but he also has 10.4 100 meter dash speed.
Should def be a 5-star

I think it's ridiculous that this kid isn't a 5 star. Much as I hate to agree if this kid was African American he would be a 5star. But frick all of that congratulations Trey Quinn you are now in the record books Nationally.
