Lyon already had their welcome to the TOP 14 but this weekend Clermont gave them another one! LINK

Top of the table right now but waiting for the impending late season collapse lol.

Cruden out for the next two games after missing the team flight to Argentina after a night out drinking. I guess Beauden Barrett will get a lot more action.

I really hope London Welsh leads to the removal of the promotion playoff in England.

ETA: Y'all really should look for at least the highlights of last week's Bath-Leicester match.

Bath has claimed two big scalps in big victories in the past three weeks: Leicester (an absolute obliteration) and Saracens (first win against them since 2010).

ETA: In Ospreys' news, Biggar got a concussion about 5 minutes in v Zebre. Their only try came while he was out cold. Ospreys still won, but made it way too hard on themselves.

In other news, I've taken a position with Swansea RFC (archiving and chronicling their history and making it digital)

After 5 matches, London Welsh have 1 point in the table and a -205 points differential. Once again, the promotion playoff needs to be scrapped.

London Wasps are moving to Coventry

London Welsh-Newcastle is the relegation decider of the season. If Welsh lose, they're pretty much gone. This is also the best chance so far for Welsh to give up less than 50 points.

London Welsh lost again

At home. To Newcastle.

They did manage to keep Newcastle under 50 points, though.

It will be interesting to see how they do in the Champions Cup.

Which speaking of starts up this weekend with the first match being played today Harlequins vs Castres. Quins should win this one since Castres have been shite so far this season.

Saturday:

Sale vs Munster

Saracens vs Clermont

Leicester vs Ulster

Racing Metro vs Northampton

Sunday:

Leinster vs Wasps

Toulon vs Scarlets

Toulouse vs Montpellier

Ospreys vs Treviso

Quins haven't played very well this season either.

BT seems shocked that Nigel is a patronising a-hole.

This match intrigues me the most.
