Why did Zach, Lisa, and Screech move from Indiana to California with Mr. Belding?

Was that ever explained?

ETA: meant to post on Movie/TV Board

Never explained. Kind of like why this is on the OT, rather than the Movie/TV Board.

Wow, I did not know this.

Mikey and Slater were kind of the same person, IMO.

Nikki should have made the move.

Yeah, maybe he moved with them and changed his name to Albert Clifford Slater, you know, for the sake of the show.

In all seriousness, Milo should have went to Bayside.

Eh, not nearly as weird as the kid on Family Matters that went upstairs and never came down again.

What up with that?

She got lost in the same wardrobe as Ritchie Cunningham's older brother.

Not really. "Saved by the Bell," from what I can tell, never really mentions the "Good Morning, Miss Bliss" years.

Even though this is GMMB and not actually SBTB,:

It was still called SBTB on on the credits, right?

I'm not Mikey fan either, but they kind of played a similar role, IMO.

Slater could have been a bit of a wuss in middle school also

Not until syndication.

The actual SBTB episodes never reference any of those episodes.

Rebranded as SBTB when it was re-aired. Original run was GMMB. You can find the original opening credits on YouTube.

No, that's just now that it's in syndication.

It was originally an NBC pilot, but they passed on it so Disney picked it up (for Hayley Mills I guess) and ran it for a season (13 episodes) then cancelled it. So NBC got it back and rehaped the show (and kept a few characters) as SBTB.
