Color me impressed. I was waiting for the first season to end and become available on Netflix.

Really cool. The writing, so far, is impressive.

Are there any more comic shows in development along the same gritty lines as this? I can easily see the DC canon as being more easily adaptable for the small screen than Marvel's characters...though I think Daredevil would work, if done like Arrow. I do like SHIELD, but it's a different vein, y'know?

I'd sure like to see a Spectre treatment done along the lines of the John Ostrander's approach, or even The Question.

Sandman would be spectacular, but it would take one hell of a writer and producer to pull it off.

Marvel Netflix deal

Hourman headed to the CW

And Flash will be debuting in Arrow this season. If he's a hit, WB plans to spin him off to his own show next year.

Not really, especially the early seasons of Smallville. Arrow is a bit more "gritty", and has a bit more violence/action.

Can't wait to see what they do with Nightwing. He could be a very intriguing charater. I love how Arrow is pulling in these "lesser known" characters from the DC universe. It's been very cool so far.

I just don't see the Defenders becoming a hit with the viewers. Luke Cage, maybe, maybe even Iron Fist or Dr Strange (DS being a longer shot). Hourman? Hmm.

I can see Nightwing working, though a redundancy of these nocturnal vigilantes might burn viewers out...Flash, though, was popular way back when, so that might work.

ETA: Well looky what DSLReports.com has up today: What y'all said!

Not a comic related show but the scifi show Alpha's was cut after the 1st season. It's almost along the lines like this. It kind of sucks in the beginning but towards the end of the season, I was really impressed.

Actually Alphas made it through season 2. I still can't believe SyFy ended that show. How could that show not have been the perfect show for SyFy? And the guy that played Gary did an awesome job with that character. It couldn't have been an easy one to play.

I loved the first several episodes. Then it got stale in the middle of the season and I stopped watching. It really picks up toward the end though, which I saw in reruns. Now I'm enjoying season 2.

Watching on Netflix now.

At the midseason point.

Nice comic booky dialogue, lots of guest stars from the comics, subplots do not overshadow the "villain of the week".

Really enjoying this.

Which SHIELD was as entertaining.
