I like Monty as a person and I think he'll get another head coaching job in 5 or so years and he'll do a good job.

he will get hired as an assistant very quickly somewhere. he would have a job within weeks. and he will be a head coach again.

It's a shame when it seems like you do a lot and the team gets out there and continually play shitty.

his schemes suck

rotations suck and his offense is inefficient, slow, and atrocious. that's all on him

With that said, however, I don't think he's going to get this ship turned around. He needs to go back to being an assistant -- preferably under Pop, take a lot of notes, and make progress next time.

I wonder how hot his seat realistically is. I expect we'll have a quote from Dell tomorrow saying that Monty's job is safe.

Tavares Montgonery Williams is a waste of space everywhere he goes now.

realistically we may already be out of the playoff hunt. it wasn't going to be easy and we've pissed away 4 "should be" wins (2 v. PHO, LAL, and this UTA game). dell's seat is very hot himself, so he's going to have to try something

if we make another big roster move and still suck, dell may be gone (which would mean monty's gone by default anyway)

I hope you're right. I don't blame Monty 100%. The unwarranted hype he got for not accomplishing anything was the start of his downfall. I believe he adapted the "my way or the highway" approach because how he was touted this great young coach. If they would have hired a assistant coach who could have taken some of the pressure off Monty, maybe he wouldn't have shite the bed like he has. Letting Malone go was a DUMB move.

I don't even know what move we could make. I guess we could offer Anderson for Asik, our 3 point shooting is fine and we suck on defense.

I think that was out of his hands. Money woes before Benson.

It really is a shame that deal was nothing more than a rumor.

I know it's early but we look like a very poorly coached team right now. I like Monty too but I'm just being honest
