When somebody asked Payton a question about Garrett he jokingly pretended they were asking about Jason Garrett. If he's concerned he ain't showing it.

Bring in a kicker that can hit 40 and under. Is there a worse kicker kicking in the NFL right now?

Strictly percentage wise:
Caleb Sturgis - MIA
Kai Forbath - WSH
Randy Bullock - HOU

But:
6th most attempted in the NFL this season.
12th most made

He's 5/5 under 30 yrds
He's 9/11 under 40 yrds

7/11 over 40 yards

What's scary is that Hartley has been the most stable kicker in the Payton era.

See if Jason Hanson will come out of his retirement. Check out Neil Rackers, who wants back into the league. Also try out Lawrence Tynes. If only to put a little pressure on Hartley.
