What is the time table on his return? I know he is on the PUP but when is the cut off for when we can designate him to the active roster? I thought it was Week 9...

I've been wondering this as well.
Also, was that who was hanging with Rob when they showed him high fixing everyone?

Might have been him.

Oh, ok. Well anyway...Butler. What's his progress? Is he even an upgrade over Haralson? I've been pleasantly surprised with Parys.

Everything I read about Butler said that he tore his ACL, in which case he will not be back at any point this year.
Unless I misunderstood something, which is always possible.

I've read or heard from somewhere that he may be able to come back in December or January possibly. Haven't heard anything lately.

He did it in OTAs. If his rehab went well, he could have came back in 6-7 months. They put him on PUP. He could be activated after week 6 and have until the end of the 11th week to put on the roster/IR.

I don't think this is true. He has 21 days once he starts practicing until he has to be added to the active roster. So my understanding is that he could theoretically start practicing in week 10/11 then have an additional 21 days to make the roster decision

He tore his acl and had surgery. Highly doubt he plays meaningful football this year.

Switching to MLB'er Humber has looked very good to me the two chances he's had to play at MLB'er. How do we get him in the game more?

By playing him when we are on Defense?

Commencing on the day after the conclusion of the sixth regular season weekend (October 15) and continuing through the day after the conclusion of the 11th regular season weekend (November 19), clubs are permitted to begin practicing players on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform for a period not to exceed 21 calendar days. Pads and helmets are permitted during the 21-day period. At any time during the 21-day practice period, or prior to 4:00 p.m., New York time, on the day after the conclusion of the 21-day period, clubs are permitted to restore such players on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform to their Active/Inactive List.
ETA: Sounds like you are right, but he has to start practicing before the end of the 11th week or he goes to IR.
