Yahoo Special Teams Scoring - Sproles fumble

My league is set up as to the def/st gets all points for return yds and tds. The player doesn't. But they charged sproles with a -2 for the special teams fumble.
So with the way it is, the player assumes all risk and no reward. That's not consistent.
Wasn't there an issue with a similar play with welker earlier in the year? Did yahoo make right on it after the fact?
