I'd go with South Park and Arrested Development (though I like the Simpsons).
Dozens of great episodes between those two. Funniest? Changes with the mood and times. Lately the Tobias and Job episodes of the new season of Arrested Development are best I've seen but they won't work for anybody not familiar with the show.
