Alabama was fired up, played flawlessly and had the better team. Did anyone notice Saban running and jumping in McCarron's arms with a huge smile on his face?
Ive never seen him that animated. He knows they played great and this was the one game that concerned him.

They clearly got the better of it in the 4th Quarter, that's what an elite team does at home.

We will be much better next year defensively, they lose McCarron and the schedule is becoming much more fair moving forward.

We are alright, if we win out from here and win the bowl game. We can beat A&M if we play well on offense.

He knows that was the last test they will face . It's smooth sailing from here for Alabama . Don't over think it . He beat a slightly above average team

I don't think the sky is falling, but we certainly need to get our shite in order.

That said, I think we can very easily win out and make it to 10 wins with a bowl victory.

Alabama played flawlessly--you're right. When you're the road dog, and the home team doesn't turn the ball over, you're doomed. Bama earned it, and McCarron's performance doesn't surprise me. He's underrated, though highly acclaimed.

Actually we are not alright. And I don't see a better D next year. What else you got?
The team mailed it in for the 4th qtr. played with them for 2 plus qtrs then folded.
Gotta have more heart as a unit, not just a couple of guys.

Bama dropped 3 interceptions vs Mettenberger. It could have been worse.

The schedule is still unfair and will remain so as long as the permanent opponent rule exists.

Moving forward, Florida and Georgia will consistently dominate the SEC East with superior talent and superior coaching.

Yet the same six teams keep winning the conference. The permanent opponent hasn't gotten in anybody's way.

The permanent rule took an SEC championship away from TAM and handed it to Bama last year.

That was a combination of the permanent opponent rule and bridge schedule rule combined that worked to perfection for Bama.

A&M and Bama both beat their permanent opponents last year.

First off. Bama didn't play flawlessly. They had 2, maybe 3 int's that they should have had. LSU needed to get the breaks to win and it didn't work out. Bama is the better team, plain and simple.

ok I'll try we got beat along the line on both offense and defense . late in the game our o line seemed to quit . our defense is not very good against either the run or pass . we dont play a lot of linemen so you have to assume there is no depth . we lose most of our skill guys . I think we need major changes in staff especially defense . A&M is going to put up 50 on us and I suspect the team as a whole has lost heart

Makes sense. I guess I mean that Bama played flawlessly in the sense that if you have a perfect game through 7, and you lay a fat one right over the middle of the plate, and Mike Trout hits it 550 feet but slightly foul, you're still pitching a perfect game. But yes, I agree with you.

No one seems to remember this. If one or two of those are actually picked, it could be much worse. I'll 100% give him the throws he did make, but these games don't happen in a vacuum.

We also need to remember that AJM overthrew two wide open receivers for would-be touchdowns.

I'm comforted considering the bounce back we made from the '08 season. But it's still tough.
