The older I get, the more I appreciate the week leading up to a big game just as much as the game itself. It's also a lot more fun to be the underdog every now and then. In a few months we won't have Saturday to look forward to. Take a step back from the ledge and appreciate the season for its entertainment value and giving us all something to look forward to. No more cupcakes, no more should be blowouts, just great weather, great football, and a chance to knock off the biggest bunch of assholes in college football!!

Eh. I have a hard time getting excited over a game that won't count if LSU wins.

I'm sure I will be entertained for a few hours, though.

If you can't get excited for LSU - Bama, you have no soul

Tip of the cap to u guys too!

I can't believe we only get to see our boys 4 more times this year and I for one won't waste this season with a loser mentality. Glad I'm not alone!!

Well fricking put, man. I've just in the last couple of years (1/9/12 spurred it on) been able to truly compartmentalize LSU football for what it is. A game. A game that I absolutely love and have tons of passion for. I used to allow games to ruin weeks, months of my life. Sure, I'll be upset after a tough loss, but I refuse to let it ruin my night, much less my week or my month. I find that having this attitude makes the losses easier and the big wins more rewarding. Either way, we're goddamn lucky to be LSU fans. Life's too goddamn short to get truly hung up and bothered by a game we have zero control over.

Eh.

Different strokes for different folks.

Still looking forward to getting together with friends and being entertained with good football for a bit.

Hell, positive people in general are rare these days, but if you can't enjoy the things that are meant to be enjoyed, how the hell can you deal with adversity? I'll be decked out in p&g all day Saturday, flipping steaks, hanging out with some good folks and enjoying watching a damn good group of football players that work there butts off to please us all.

Amen brother. I know I'll feel like shite on Sunday/Monday/Tuesday if we lose though but college football season is always a great ride.
