This is how I'll be watching the game Saturday. Anyone ever watch anything off of a WIFI connection on a plane. I'm nervous I won't be able to see shite.

You're gonna make the plane crash just to watch an LSU loss?

The airline offers WIFI. Just not sure how strong the signal is. And LSU will win.

Travel weekly - Fly all around the US - WIFI signal on plane will suck !! Not able to use NETFLIX or download videos.
Internet Radio best choice.

ONCE we win the replay will be on everyday

I would imagine it would depend on how many of the other passengers were eating up the wifi. We had wifi on the last plane I used to fly and it worked about 70% of the time. I really don't know about airliners. I was just being a smartass.

I wouldn't count on streaming the game with the planes WIFI. You better hope the plane has live sat TV.

Who are you flying?

The bandwidth is not strong enough to allow streaming of a game. Which airline are you flying? Many United flights have directv in the headrest, which can be purchased for a couple of bucks. I'd be surprised if other airlines do not have some sort of satellite tv agreement. If nothing is offered, hope the flight is delayed or cancelled. You definitely dont want to miss this game! Go Tigers beat Alabama!

I tried streaming NFL Sunday Ticket on a plane coming back from UGA. It didn't work out so well.

Flying Southwest, they do have 13 live stations with Dish Network and offer movie downloads. If anything I can keep up with my CBS app but it will tough to not watch the game.

DVR is definitely set. Once I get to the hotel I can watch the reply off my DVR on my Ipad. Still it will be an intense flight for me knowing there a game on and I can't see it.

Yeah, it was sooo terrible. I got through 5 minutes of a Netflix movie and quit. It rebuffered probably 10 times. If they have Direct TV, you should get CBS on that little screen for TV, no?

They have Dish with 13 live channels, I'm thinking I might luck up and get it on there.

I tried to stream Sunday ticket on DirectTV via my iPad on my Delta flight last year. It was really really slow....

CBS is not one of those stations. But, to answer your question, the DISH looks great in the air; never used their WIFI though. But based on experience from other airlines, no streaming is allowed.

How did you plan on watching the game? do you have a sling box?
