The guy is playing hard, and trying to get better.

I think the talent around him may be giving him the push he needs.

He's been hitting his jumpers at a respectable clip this season/preseason. I guess he learned that releasing the ball at an 89 degree angle isn't the best form.

I will not appreciate Aminu until he camps out in the corner and learns to bury a goddamn corner 3 at an efficient rate.

Getting steals, rebounds and playing defense just like last year but he's making a solid amount of jumpers now. I love the kid.

I would have guessed this thread would be abounding with new found Aminu praise. I'm very surprised at those not convinced of his significant leaps this preseason and first 5 games...

Dude has been incredibly more efficient with the ball. I am beginning to get excited when he's given the ball just because he is making so many more smart plays. He is using his athleticism to its best advantage now and really making a significant impact on BOTH ends of the floor this season. And not just fast break slams... He shot looks night and day improved over the rainbow of yore and he is starting to show off some legitimate skills around the rim.

I'd have to say he's been one of my favorite surprises this year. Him, and slowly but surely, Greg "The Cleveland" Stiemsma.

Small Sample Size, but he is hitting his midrange jumpers decently.

I was about to post that that must not be updated, because he hit a 3 last night, but looking at the box score, it must have been a long 2 with a foot on the line.

The Chief has arrived though.

For all the offensive problems we're having, the one thing I've been happy to see (outside of a couple of bad quarters) is aggressive, tenacious D.

Aminu, Jrue, AD and even Steimsma are playing great D so far.

As I said in another thread, I was expecting us to be playing 5 on 4 every time stiemsma was on the court. Thankfully he's proved me wrong thus far.

Just got to keep it up when opponents "get hot."
