Joe Sepies in Old Jefferson closing

Heard from a neighbor that Joe Sepies in Old Jefferson is closing fri. His food was always good, but IMHO a bit overpriced. Will he be missed?

I kind of was getting a feeling this was gonna happen. They really cut back on the menu. One of the best RB poboys in the city.

I always liked it.
Ate there often when my dad was at Oschner.
He was originally from Raceland where I live so we hit it off pretty good.

I'm kind of surprised this didn't happen a few years ago.
I loved his RB poboy and onion rings among other things, but I never saw more than three tables of people at lunch. I can't think dinner was much better.
He kind of annoyed me with having a tv on with BS political stuff. A few times I had him standing next to me talking politics and firing up a table full of blue hair women. That kind of shite is the last thing I want going on during my lunch break.
