I'm right there with you. Been looking forward to this for a long time. This will be my 4th time seeing Avett and I'm just as excited as my first time.
Looks like weather should be really nice too. The only drawback is missing the Sunday night Saints game.

Where did you get the times for the fest? The website blows and doesn't say anything.
Eta: Nevermind. I see it under the FAQ's.

I'll be there. Anybody know the set-up? Wasn't there supposed to be more to the festival than just music?

There doesn't seem to be much information out there. I believe it's the first year putting the festival on.
I'd like to at least know what kind of food will be out there.

There is article about the festival in this week's issue of Dig.

DeLaune said Hemingbough’s large grounds provided the perfect spot for their concept. The cultural events center has become known around southeast Louisiana as a scenic spot for Southern-style weddings and large receptions.
“I think once everyone sees what it looks like with the lights and screen and bands on stage, and everything set up, people will be impressed by how beautiful the property really is. But I think so many people in Louisiana have such a deep-seated love for that property,” DeLaune said. “People have gotten married there, they remember going to events there, concerts there 10 years ago. They remember seeing Emmy Lou Harris and the Four Tops there. People remember those things and everyone has fond memories of that property. We want to reignite some of those memories for people who have been there, and create memories for a whole new generation.”
With Hemingbough’s scenic backdrop, the chosen artists play well into the Modern South feel. While they all carry a heavy country influence, each represents a different take on the genre. The Avett Brothers have become known for combining roots Americana with punk, pop and modern rock. Wade Bowen plays into the more rocking style of Red Dirt country. And singer-songwriter Charlie Worsham has started to make waves on mainstream country radio.
Rather than stack a large bill, DeLaune said Anchorline wanted to make a cohesive lineup that could fill a Sunday afternoon.
“We wanted to make sure that we had the best combination of music possible,” DeLaune said. “We didn’t go out on a fishing expedition looking for any band that would play. We could have done that. We could have filled the bill with 14 bands, but we purposefully chose these artists and they – forgive the ridiculous sentiment – they all play really well together.”
