Go online and buy a one-day parking pass. It's worth it.

Central High School on 15th street maybe if you don't mind walking.

lots of free spaces downtown, just west of Queen City Avenue. It's about 3/4 mile walk to the stadium. Post-game it is easy to get out of town on 359.

Plenty of cheap or free street & yard parking in circled area & vicinity below. My car's always been safe & easy access out of town.

I hesitate to copy and paste my post here as I don't want a mad rush to this spot and I lose a spot but I'll go ahead and share as I know how frustrating it can be to find a space in unfamiliar territory during a road trip. The place described below is very convenient when leaving as well as only being about a 250 to 300 yard walk to a main shuttle pick up point.

I found a great spot this year. There is a small parochial school just off the Campus Drive exit off of McFarland Blvd (the very next exit after University Blvd) where you can park for $10 and it's a VERY EASY exit to McFarland Boulevard after the game. It's right across the street from Bob Baumhower's Wings Sports Grill and the Hampton Inn. There is a shuttle stop about 250 yards from this parking area that takes you to the Quad and you can carry a cooler and minor tailgating supplies on the shuttle.

You're welcome

Park at the T-town mall; there are bus shuttles that drop you off a block from the stadium, near the cemetery on campus (don't ask). I think the program is called Tide Ride, or something like that.

No offense, but I've heard a couple of horror stories about this option. Plus, it's horrible if you need to get back to your car during the day for any reason. The area I described as well as downtown at least offers a way to get back to your car if you need to.

I work with a boy scout troop and there are a number of parking areas around town. Right now, I am trying to fill a lot with LSU RVs. The lot will hold 12 RVs and presently there are 2 LSU and 1 BAMA RVs scheduled. The lot is 10 blocks from the stadium. For car parking, it is pay most everywhere. This is the biggest game of the year and most lots get full. Glad to help with any questions. I can be reached at BWCTroop90@gmail.com

High School is $20. The boy scout lot across 10th Street from Central High is also $20. My scout lot across 15th Street from the Central football field is $20. Once you cross the railroad tracks towards campus, it will double.

Trust me on my first suggestion. Literally the only downside is that it's a long walk to campus. Everything else about the spot (just across the street from Bob Baumhower's Wings Sports Grill/Hampton Inn) is super convenient. It only costs $10 too and you're only a 250 yard walk from your car to a shuttle pick up point that drops you off at the Quad.

I don't know why I'm telling you this, I guess because I've already got a parking spot elsewhere...but there is a hidden gem in Tuscaloosa behind the intersection of reed street and riverside. It's free parking and it's less that a mile from the stadium, most people don't know about it because it's kind of hidden and not off a main road. The section between the tree lines here is a narrow ridge with deep gullies on either side, but there is room for 100+ cars on this plot of land and it's served me well many times. The very far left of this picture is property that belong to the surrounding neighborhoods. If there is someone at the entrance to this spot right off Rees street asking for parking money then tell them to frick off, it's city property.

Said spot in relation to BDS. The earlier you arrive the better obviously.

You may have some luck on Reed Street but 100 cars when we expect 50,000 will need additional space. Leaving from Reed street will put you on McFarland Blvd, which is well managed but heavily congested. Parking on the south side of campus near 10th Avenue gives you a straight shot to I-359. Really, $20 to help the Boy Scouts is a good thing.

I would park downtown and ride the Tuscaloosa Trolley to the stadium. It's a 2$ round trip ticket.

hey man, my wife goes to the bama games and uses the parking links listed here. this sites maps for traffic, parking, and the shuttle info are apparently the bees' knees. i think she pays around $20 for parking, but the shuttle, even after a packed game, takes less than 15 minutes from stadium seat to car seat.

good luck.
