Since this seems to be the majority thought around here I suggest that if LSU loses Saturday, Miles should be fired on the spot.
The contract buy-out could be negotiated.
The new coach would be signed to a one year contract the sole provision for renewal would be beating Bama. Pay the new guy a big bonus if he beats Bama next year.

Please. We don't want to become UGA where the mandate is beat Florida. Sadly with our fanbase and Les "Good-enough" Miles we are evolving into the Dawgs west.

Why would he get a bonus for beating Bama, that's part of the job requirement.

that task would become easier next year since Nick would be on the opposite sideline.

Good point. Nothing extra for just doing the job.

That would be the least he could do actually. He still owes us for 1/9 and the Ole Miss game.

The beauty of this plan is that the new guy doesn't have to shoulder the butt hurt from fans for the past.

We're two years off an SEC Championship and our third MNC appearance in an eight-year period.

Playing spoiler to one fricking opponent is not the "benchmark" for LSU football.

What good is beating Alabama if you can't beat Ole Miss?

Perhaps LSU should just play one game each year: Alabama. Thats the only game most fans care about anymore anyway.

He will probably win this one, most below average coaches are better at being the under dog. That's how he got is job at LSU, he beat Oklahoma two times.

Or we could sign a new coach to a contract that says just win 10 and lose the biggest 2 and we will reward you with multiple million long term contract renewals.

That is basically all LM is capable of every year.
