There’s not much more to be said about the No. 1 prospect in the country Leonard Fournette on the field, so Saturday was as much about the yards he totaled as the character of St. Augustine’s superstar tailback.

Fournette ditched his familiar No. 5 jersey in the Purple Knights’, 33-14, Catholic League win over Shaw and donned No. 86 in honor of teammate Jordan St. Etienne, who’s mother passed away from breast cancer last week.

“He asked me if I could wear it for him and his mother, so I did,” Fournette said. “It was very important for me and to him. He’s my classmate and teammate that I’ll be graduating with and it made me happy to step up to the plate and make a big play.”

In a world that seems like it is unraveling faster then we can control...it's very encouraging to read story's like this.

Props to the young man

This guy is going to be a fantastic football player and human being. Hope he comes to LSU, could finally be the leader/player that leads us to a title again

So much respect.

LF is just so humble as the number 1 recruit the way he handles the whole process, he says he is blessed and just keeps working harder.
