jus shot first bow deer.. how long to wait (updated with pic pg 1)

shot at 15 yards little high, but behind shoulder. not complete pass thru, nockturnal was glowing in side when ran off.. give him 2 hrs? help?!!!

Couple of hours. Did you listen to where the deer ran after being hit? Did you hear it crash? When you get down from the stand your can check the blood for evidence of a lung hit, etc, but give him some time. How big?

I usually go 30-45 minutes to get down and check for blood, and GTFO for another hour or so immediately

If it was a good hit, I give them 30-45 minutes and usually they don't need that long. Being that its your first one...give her some time just to be safe.
