Duck hunting club

I am looking for a hunting club with a lodge to join. I really am pretty much a weekend hunter, but would like to go a bit during TG holidays, etc. Looking to pay approx $5000 or so. Any advice? Is it too late for this year?

For $5K, go finance a boat with a mud motor and a blind. If I moved back to LA, I wouldn't even consider leasing private. Way too much quality public.
