After getting a shitty autodraft team this year, I'm going to be in attendance at my draft next year and be the most prepared person in the room. Anyone know of a good mock draft website that you can use year-round?

I know, but I want to channel my negative energy into my preparedness for next year.

I wouldn't even play if I had an autodraft team. Seems horrible.

Quitting on this year's team and moving onto next year is not the answer. Nor is blaming the auto-draft. You chose autodraft, you should have to live with the consequences of your actions.

There have been enough injuries this year, that few teams are playing with the guys they drafted to start. Why aren't you scouring the waiver wire to pick up previously unknown gems that can improve your team? Did you scoop up Jarrett Boykin, Mike James, Marvin Jones, Harry Douglas? The list of undrafted guys having nice fantasy seasons is long. If you don't own any of them, then that goes to show that you are not a good owner. Again, don't blame auto-draft.

The next thing is that the best preparation you can do now for next year is to keep watching this year. If you're not a good judge of NFL talent, watching more will help you improve, not tweaking draft strategies.

When I read your post, my first thought was that you are a whinny, blaming quitter. It's not too late to prove that you're not. Hold off on mock drafts until next summer and put your time to better use. BTW, if a guy packs it in and quits trying in our league, he is not invited back the next year.

Nice lecture, but I'm not quitting on this years team. I don't know why you assumed I was quitting when I never came close to saying or implying that. Far from it actually. I take it as a challenge. I hate that I have an autodraft team but I had to work during the draft. Some autodraft teams end up pretty good but you need to get lucky for that to happen. I've made some great moves on the waiver wire and I'm constantly monitoring it. But in a 12-team league there's only so much you can do.

Autodraft always seems to do a pretty good job for other teams in my leagues.
