1) well it's like a 3 minute walk from campus
2) college baseball wise, UVA is my team not LSU.

UVA didn't get swept by MSU. They actually blew a sweep after going up winning the first game and winning the second game until going into a rain delay and postponement. What happened to them is even more embarrassing than a sweep.

I have seen your posts the last two days, but unless you are a UCLA or North Carolina fan, maybe even a Miss State fan, you have no room to mock anything LSU baseball related. We made it farther than Virginia, and Mason Katz crushed Miss State in their own stadium.

yeah I've trolled but this time I'm not, I love baseball. but I don't like LSU baseball.

I'm well aware of UVA's lack of post season success (CWS Titles or even apperances)

You got worn out during a five-year span where we went to Omaha twice and won (or tied) for the SEC West twice? I was heavy on the fire Smoke bandwagon in the mid-2000's because I didn't think the guy was very intelligent, but we also had some very talented teams out there with some extremely talented ball players.
Pretty weak excuse, IMO, although you're justified to your opinion.
The Smoke era would be classified as an elite era at more than 90% of the other DI baseball schools. It just didn't meet the standards that Skip built in the 80s with 5 NCs and that Mainieri is maintaining with 1 NC, which also leads Virginia's natty count by about 6 if my math is correct.
Just don't understand why an LSU fan would bash on the baseball team because they went 0-2 in Omaha this past year? The 2-and-Q aside, this past season was one to remember, for almost all the good reasons. Our team was great, just hit a two game rough patch at the end of the year in Omaha against the eventual National Champs and a team in UNC that IMO was the most talented in the whole field.
That said, I think what O'Conner is doing over at UVA is great. I dislike many ACC schools for their perennial "blowing it," but UVA isn't one of those teams I dislike.

That's fine, you're entitled to have your own opinions and feelings. But why come in here and flame the LSU baseball fans? We aren't bothering anybody, just having our own little circle jerk to distract us from the real world problems of our football team.
