I par boil mine in crab boil, remove and let cool for a few and toss in oil and stick on grill. They expand a good bit and the water allows it to happen without the casing failure, it will happen from time to time but not as much as sticking straight on grill at high heat. Also don't do mine real hot either.

Or if u must use a grill, remove the grates ur cookin on until u put the boudin on. (i use charchoal only... So remove the grates, lite pit, sprat grates and boudin with cooking spray, cook on indirect heat on grates that are not smokin hot. U cancook long enough that way to crisp them. Keep them sprayed with nonstick spray and move around fairly often
