Aminu tonight:

23 min. 1pt. 0/2FG 0/13 1/2FT 4REB 2AST 2STL 5PF 1TO

I love the idea of having that lock down defender at the 3 that we don't need to score alot but just hit wide open shots but this is not the guy. He dosent bring anything to the starting lineup as he D was horrible tonight with George. I know we don't have a lot of options and we want to keep Tyreke off the bench but Aminu doesn't need to see the floor

It's easy to say someone isn't cutting it and needs to be replaced, but who do we realistically replace him with? I'm going to need to watch the replay, but I felt like his D on George isn't as bad as you make it out to be.

IIRC, George was open off of pindowns and curls last night. That's not necessarily Aminu's fault though. It looked like more of a team defense problem on a lot of them.

Bingo. And no man should say lolz, it's like lulz. I think tyreke will get it together. It will be interesting how all the players gel together (Evans, Gordon, and Holliday) when they all play together.

I thought more about this. Aminu was 0-2 (0-1 from 3). That 3 he took was about a 30 foot prayer at the end of the clock. That was actually a great job by him to put it up in the situation and indicated significant situational awareness that was lacking from other players on that possession. He wasn't too far off, either.

Basically, about the only argument you could make against his play was that he didn't take enough shots, which most people would prefer from him.

Im not defending aminu, but got damn how can you say after 1 game that he shouldnt see the floor...he was going agaist a top 20 player in the nba who can score and defend. Aminu could have done a little better, but to say he shouldnt see the floor is a joke. Yeah lets sit aminu and play lance thomas..
