Didn't BMoney post in the past that Breckenridge Brewery and Santa Fe Brewery were going to be distributed to Louisiana in the near future? If so, any updates on the two? I'm a big fan of Santa Fe's Happy Camper IPA and their Imperial Java Stout and I've enjoyed Breckenridge's Vanilla Porter the few times I've had it.

and Lagunitas.

I know for a fact a big name in brewing from the west coast is coming to LA very soon. It has not been mentioned in this thread yet.

That wasn't who I was thinking of but yeah, heard they may slide in because of a technicality.

As in, Russian River big name? Firestone? Bruery/Mission? Or bigger (production wise) than these?

The Bruery? If so, I'll drive to LA and buy up all of the Oude Tart and Tart of Darkness I find.

I keep hearing Breckenridge, but I think the distributor they are going to go with can't fulfill the commitment to them right now because they don't have cold storage. At least that's the story I heard.

Santa Fe was from an interview with the brewery owner. No idea what the timetable was.

Ballast Point told be point blank that they plan to be in Louisiana in early 2014. None of my distributor contacts have heard anything from them yet. That doesn't mean much though. SweetWater got signed and distributing within a month.

Lagunitas will be 2014, once the Chicago brewery is online.

Nothing official, but reading between the lines of some correspondence, I expect Oskar Blues to be here in 2014 too.

Don't expect Firestone Walker, other than the contract brewed stuff they do for Trader Joe's.

Why does everyone go straight to guessing a cali brewery?

Anyway, I'm out of this guessing game.

Breckenridge's Vanilla Porter

I have had this. Nice after-dinner drink. Almost rich enough to be dessert.

And when do we get Nola ICS cans? I went to Rouses tonight wanting a stout or porter 6 pack, and none were to be had.

I had a friend go to Deschutes recently, and he claims someone there told him they were looking at LA soon, but I haven't seen anything anywhere else and they never responded to my email.

I would love this.

Honestly I would love any additions to Louisiana. It's great to watch the growth. However our BXN network may suffer some.

When NOLA gets their ICS cans. As of about 2 weeks ago, they were still awaiting the prototype cans to show up so they could approve them and order the lot. I think Ball (the can manufacturer) is taking a little longer now with the plethora of beers being canned now.

Ditto for the Tin Roof Coffee Porter. I've seen the can design, and it's really well done. Been asked not to share it until they get their prototype in to approve. But they are optimistic they will have them on shelves around mid-November.
