Two in a row on a 3rd down was annoying. The hands to the face no call was as well.

I'm going to keep on saying it. Roger has no intention of handing SP any hardware. We've got a better shot of LSU getting treated fairly by Bugeyes in Tuscaloser than we do of the Saints catching a break from Roger's refs.

Thats like saying the shite sandwich is better than the bowl of crap.

Will never take a single thing this guy says seriously again.

If you couldn't see that then you really need to stop watching football. Just sayin...

He's just showing Tom how to perform a sleeper hold on Gisele next time she runs her mouth.

I agree with Perieira. I am a Saints fan, but I don't follow them or the NFL 24/7. When it happened in the game, my first thought was that the NFL must have put out a memo to all the teams that reaching for the snap would be called false start.

I am actually glad that it was just rogue calls because Brees definitely gets a good look at the defense that way. Of course, all QBs use it, but Brees, Manning and Brady do it best.

I doubt it. My guess is something like this comes from this specific crew being told before the game "Hey, we need to emphasize that moving like that is a false start on the QB cause it's not fair to the defense" and with a simple line like that, the official feels he has to call it. Whether it's just his superior or Goddell I'll leave up to your imagination (probably from one to the other to the officials).

Was that kind of bullshite called in any other games Sunday? Hard to believe no one else tried a hard count to draw the defense offsides with it being such a common thing.

“How can that be a false start?” Pereira said. “Come on. That’s not enough for a false start. And not only do they call him once, they call him twice.”

But this guy...

...said it was a False Start.

I still think the first one was a good call. Second one, not so much. First one he did like 3 audible snap calls and motioned a lot. Second one he just did his standard single snap call, looked up at the defense and then got flagged.

Again, a QB false start is such a subjective penalty, they really should hone in on the rule a bit this year and clearly define what is acceptable and not. Also probably going to see something with spiking the ball since Stafford made the Cowboys look like fools. Pretty much every player in the league isn't old enough to know that Marino did something similar, and it would have burned just about every defense in the league right now.

slow down buddy. they certainly didn't help but single handedly? bit much. shitty, tentative playcalling on the last 2-3 drives certainly contributed to the loss

and the offense sleepwalking thru the first half didn't help either

Does he say "They were bullshite and the ref that called them is a count"?

Cause if so, I agree.

Well the false start was definitely an offsides and that to me was the worst call of the game

Good thing the false start/off-sides call in the Pats game is being brought up, I don't think I've seen any threads on it yet. :beatdeadhorse:

Peyton Manning was definitely doing this action more egregiously on Sunday.

but he is the golden child with a huge forehead.

The false start at the end of the 1st half was a huge call. If we get s 1st then there was an extremely high possibility that we come away with some points.

I still have no idea how they missed that one.
