Do the Cardinals Have More Miracles Left in Their Gift Bag?

Cards fans have been extremely spoiled the past decade. God has even been kind enough to grant us multiple miracles.

There's a point when the miracle gift bag will become empty.

Does the bag contain a few more miracles? I don't know...only God can answer that question.

However, if I was a betting man, I'd say that the gift bag is more than likely empty.

We have to do a better job with runners in scoring position. We've left a lot of runs on base. This could be a completely different series were it not for that.

I'm not sure what the odds are on STL winning the last two games, but I bet theres some good money to be made.

Cardinals will win both.

If they can get to a game 7...you never know how nerves/ pressure will affect a team and the Cardinals seem to be....bottom of the 9th 2 out pressure type of team. So, I give them a better than average chance (compared to most 2 down teams). It wouldn't surprise me to see a 8-1 game tonight from either side. The Card's bats have been slumping since the end of the NLCS...so they are do to get a couple of games of runs. The same could be said for the bottom order of the Sox's line up as well.

I think the Cardinals still have an excellent chance to win the WS. Last two games were must wins for the Red Sox since Wacha goes in Game 6 and Boston doesn't really have a Game 7 starter that you would have confidence in. I think Cards win Game 6 and Game 7 is a tossup.

To be honest both teams have holes in their lineups. If it weren't for Holiday and Carpenter this series would be over. Papi is playing outside of his skull and I wouldn't shocked if he got walked every appearance from here on out.

I was a proponent of this after game 1. He should not be seeing pitches with 1st or 2nd base open.

I 100% agree. No way in hell I'm pitching to him if I can get around him with him on the bags. Boston's lineup has been weird to explain.

Every single person in the line up has done something huge the post season that changed the game completely (good or bad) with the exception of Daniel Nava who hasn't done much of anything. Hell even Drew got down 0-2 and got a full count walk that was the go ahead score.

I'd even consider walking him with the bases loaded. Better to give up one run than 2-4.

Didn't realize that the Almighty had enough time on his schedule to bless a baseball game...figured he'd have bigger fish to fry! But I'm a life-long sox fan so I guess that explains my skepticism
