So today, I decided to cook a deer roast. My favorite side with any roast is succotash. I figured I'd share my recipe, its very easy.
Things you need:
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
2 tomatoes
2 cups of whole kernel corn (fresh or frozen, I use fresh)
2 cups of Lima beans (same as above)
1 cup of okra (same as above)
2 tablespoons of sugar
Dice the 2 tomatoes
Sautée the garlic and onions in a little oil
Add and mash the tomatoes, add sugar, let cook for around 10 minutes
Add the other veggies, you can either cut or chop the okra, today I chopped it.
Add water to get it to the consistency you want, I like it thick.
Let it all simmer for atleast an hour (the longer the better.)
Enjoy
