You know what my bad...
I referenced it wrong. There's a closet in the hotel at the golden saucer that has Kefka's laugh from VI in it and it was used in Chrono Trigger as well. Sorry for the mix up I feel like a dumbass.

One of my favorite Easter eggs is fighting Culex in Super Mario RPG. It has Final Fantasy music during and after the fight.

Awesome! Don't let the haters bother you. This game is fun and again one of my favorites, if not my favorite. One tip, there are spots where you'll need to level up and get loot for money for what seems like a long time, I suggest anytime you are in Rabenaster (the first city) go by the gambit shop. It'll help things go by a little faster.

Only a few minutes past the tutorial on XIII. Opening scenes looked amazing. Not sure how I feel about the new battle system yet (vs FF VII). Gonna have to get deeper into the game.

Thanks for the tip! I turned it on last night. The intro and everything to really get to the gameplay was almost an hour long. GF was over so I couldn't stay up and keep playing. Hoping to make a dent in the game saturday and sunday.

went to my parents house at lunch and found my old PS2 with ps1 memory cards with FFVII, VIII and IX along with legends of the dragoon. and kingdom hearts 1 and 2. Won't be buying any games anytime soon.

Well, considering the game is entirely translated, I can't see there being much of a delay. There's just a very small team working on it.
