Good park in ear New Orleans for birthday party

Looking to grill with family and friends for my son's third birthday. Obviously a jungle gym is ideal.
What' are some good suggestions, I'm not overly familiar with parks here in NOLA.

The lakefront, depending on the weather isn't bad, or just city park.

Don't be cheap, just rent the carousel at City Park.

Audubon Park has 2 jungle gyms, but you have to reserve the shelters for cooking and such.
