I have two tickets to the game tonight, the first Hornets/Pelicans game I've been to, and I have a few questions.

I'm leaving Baton Rouge around 5-530 (straight from work)

Where is the best parking? Free/Paid?
Will I be late for the game?

Earlier you leave the better. 5 should be doable. I10 between Loyola and veterans is terrible with the construction they are doing so I'd suggest google mapping traffic when you get on the spillway.

I've been parking around Julia and rampart since 07 with a good bit of street parking available. Tons of pay lots over there too.

Been parking on O'Keefe for as long as I can remember, paying for parking is for the birds.

I park across Claiborne from the Dome under the I-10 ramps. Usually plenty of spots. Can get messy if it's been raining, though. Close as you can get for free.

Don't meter maids check up until 9 pm now for violators (or has that been suspended)?

PARKING METERS END AT 6:00

I usually park on Baronne St. near the fancy Rouses. Anywhere in that neighborhood is very comfortable at night. Lots of condos and such under construction.

Meter maids work on Saturdays.

I've never had to pay to park for a Hornets game.

Well season ticket holders with parking passes technically have already paid to park.
