At the New Orleans Quarterback Club luncheon today, Hazard was one of the speakers. He was understandedly outspoken regarding Miles, especially with regard to game management. Someone asked who he would like to see as head coach and Hazard suggested Tulane Coach Curtis Johnson. He further commented that Johnson would be on a lot of teams' short list for head coach. Now, Johnson was sitting right there, so It's likely there was some element of approbation and flattery at work, especially considering the success the Tulane program has enjoyed this year. But, what do you think. Anyone else out there have Johnson on their short list?

Please stop this shite! CLM is a big time winning coach! His record is the envy of most (Saban excluded)!

if you think Miles is a mental midget, dont get started on CJ. Though both good recruiters

LSU...best fans in the country.

Name a coach that comes here, and will win more games than Miles has.

Eta: whoever Nick Hazard is, frick that guy.

He needs to lay off the bottle!!! Why go there when LSU at this point has to be a top 10 destination why not go get a top 10 coach. Johnson needs to prove himself at a larger institution before you give him the reins at LSU. And CLM is not going anywhere soon anyway!!!!

Who said my list is short? My list is definitely average or better in length.

I was a little surprised by some of the tweets from former players after the game mentioning "same old issues", etc.

Anyone suggesting we replace our head coach with Tulane's head coach is a douchebag. Listen to that mindless blather at your own risk.

Sounds like hazard took too many hits to the head during his playing days.

New school fans.

Nicky and his brother Johnny are some of the greatest Tigers I've ever known. Do a lot for the program 25+ years later.

Nicky is a personal friend and was a very good MLB for the Tigers in the late 80's, early 90's. His brother John was a very good OL for us as well. That said, I disagree with Nicky on this one. I am not up for Curtis Johnson being on the list.

I would rather see the Stanford coach (David Shaw), Okie St coach (Mike Gundy), Pete Carmichael - Saints OC, Vic Fangio - 49ers DC, just to name a few.

Let Curtis Johnson prove something as a HC before you even think about moving him up to the big leagues.
