Just curious where everyone is getting the rumor from. I know Hanagriff said it post game, but I was just curious how valid it is. Color me shocked if some NegaTiger Dooms Dayer just wanted to pile on some bs after the Ole Piss loss. Any legit inside scoop would be appreciated.

yes plenty of validity. He has tripped there a lot lately, and not LSU. A few sources close to Neville think LSU but that is majorly wavering. Bama has been making in roads up there and are beating us to the punch.

When Saban accepts the UT job in January, everything will tilt our way

Might be too late for early enrolled though.

Why wouldn't Hootie want to go to Bama right now over LSU? You think Saban would ever not have his team prepared. If Saban loses, it is NOT because he didn't prepare his team. But alas, Ol' Les admits to the world that he didn't have his team prepared. The highest ranked 1 loss team with everything to play for and you aren't prepared. I can live with a loss, but not as a result of being unprepared. Kudos to Hugh Freeze because his team was ready!!

About as much as the cam to LSU rumors. almost all rumors about these kids are based on the sources feelings. Most of them.

Because LSU puts players in the NFL EARLY

Because LSU is where he can play early AND THATS NOT A LIE

Because LSU is family and other places use you as a commodity.

OH and contrary to your sorry arse beliefs, LSU is a place where you can win a championship.

RBWilliams,

I know a lot of it is speculation and feeling, just didnt know if something concrete had happened over the past week or two. I still think its up in the air really. Always thought Hootie was 50/50 but it looked promising early in the season with him coming to all our games. Just didnt know if it was something like in the CRob case where the WM coaches started saying he was Bama bound and cleared the speculations.

I'm just going to throw out a number here and it's not concrete but the majority of recruiting services think he going to LSU base on his actions. I feel comfortable saying 80% or better. I haven't looked to see who's changed their picks lately but as of a week or so ago almost everyone had him at LSU.

Now, the basis for these predictions are the same as to why people were thinking Cam Robinson to bama. It's almost reverse as far as predictions go.

So when Saban lost to UAB and later when at Alabama ULM, you think his teams were prepared? What a dumb arse. It happens to the best. As a matter of fact it has happened to some very good teams, 2 weeks in a row now. Get over it! LSU will be just fine!

He will be a starter before season's end next year at LSU. He will be a part of what could be the best class in LSU history. He can be a part of Louisiana lore & history.

At Bama, he will be a junior before starting (despite what Saban says - see Landon Collins). He will be used up by the time he leaves (just look at the other Bama NFL guys). He will be just another recruit to Bama fans.

I still think he ends up at LSU because it is just the better destination when all things are considered in view of two places he cannot go wrong.

So if Les wouldn't have SAID it you could accept it?

Coaches with humility and class always TAKE the blame for the losses and GIVE credit to the players for wins.
Are you new to this thing we call Football?

I wasn't joking about the Saban noise

I know, it happens every year... Terri's been in Austin, Blah blah...

I am skeptical as well... but this friend of mine who coaches ...ah never mind, let's just see what happens

It's all hearsay... but considering who this is coming from, it certainly makes me take the rumor way way more seriously than something I would read on rant...

Did I just type that?

Hopefully he comes to Lsu. It's home. He will get early playing time and Lsu puts people in the nfl who play up to their potential. Look at Ingram for the saints and did you see Trent Richardson last. Night. Yuk.
Hootie will make a name for himself here at Lsu and he knows it.

Problem is your comparing LSU to a school that has won 3 of the last 4 and possible 4 of the last 5. I don't see LSU being in title contention in the foreseeable future where as Bama will be in it every yr!
