For those who don't know that is the part of the hospital that deals in severe and life threatening injuries. The other thread from yesterday wasn't being updated.

Wish him all the best.

It's amazing how easily something like this can happen. Hope he is able to get back on his feet.

The reports of him being in surgery were incorrect. I got an update he was in ICU about a hour ago.

looks like it was how his head hit the ground that caused the injury, not the hit from the player

Did anyone read the story from a week ago about his family wanting him to quit playing football because it's too dangerous? Crazy timing.

Jermichael Finley (neck) remains in the intensive care unit at the hospital. Of all the injuries that happened Sunday, Finley's is the scariest. He had to be immobilized on the field after taking a hit from Browns FS Tashaun Gipson, leaving teammates shaken up and in tears. Finley has not had surgery as of early this morning, but doctors are monitoring his status. As agent Blake Baratz said Sunday night, football doesn't matter right now. Finley also sustained a severe concussion in Week 3 and said his son asked him to stop playing football at that time. For what it's worth, a source tells NFL Network that Finley is "going to be fine."

Man i hope so
