why was our best back on the bench for a large portion of the game. Hillard, Magee, and Blue are OK backs but they are not HIll

Hilliard played great last night. Nothing to see here.

Les didn't want him to get the big head by running for 100 something yards 3 weeks in a row. He obviously made a promise to the hilliard family to give him a shot....

Miles said in his press conf. that Hill was not used as much as normal the second half because we were throwing the ball more because they were behind.

Was wondering the same thing in the 1st Q when he was pulled out. Wondered if something happened at practice, classes missed.....just didn't make sense to have your best back on the bench that much??

HIllard is pretty good but he is not going to break off the big runs that Hill regularly does. We needed some big plays to go our way last night. We needed Hill in the game.

This isn't the first time Hill has vanished for plays/drives at a time.

Agree 100%, Hill has the potential to break off the long runs more than any back we have.

doesn't make sense to put one of your big time playmakers (along with OBJ and Landry) on the bench when you need big plays

What Miles and co does shouldn't surprise you anymore. Bizarre shite every season. The offensive game plan to start the season all the way up to Florida was killing teams and you change it the last two weeks. Look how much a frosh for Mizzou passed on Fla defense. Every season he manages to blow a game or two to teams we should beat.

I don't get why we don't make Hill THE guy. I know we have a good stable, but Hill would own some teams alone given the chance.

Almost seemed to me like the coaching staff figured they could beat Ole Miss with anyone we threw out there the way they rotated through all of the backs instead of staying with one like we've done in past games.

When have we ever done this in recent memory?

Was meaning that Hill was getting bulk of the carries this season and he started well I thought and then he's pulled and get's very few carries for most of the 1st half?

this big time. Could have blown Florida off the field with the passing attack that got us through the rest of the season before the Florida/Ole Miss games. Also was thinking the same thing watching Mizzou/Florida yesterday
