Nickekback sucks, but they started doing so after they went radio friendly. This album is pretty good, anyone agree/disagree?

They don't suck. People don't like them bc they feel they sold out and unoriginal. And its cool thing to do. But they don't suck. There is a lot of shitty music out but Nickleback is talented. I don't care for their music. But they don't suck.

I liked leader of men but thats about it for nickelback. Never listened to a full album from them.

I listened to them a little early on in their career. I saw them with friends after they got huge - the music definitely suffered when they became entertainers instead of musicians (not that they were ever groundbreaking).... But if you chalk them up as pop entertainers instead of rock artists they do what they set out to do well even if it's not inspiring or creative. I won't go buy a cd or run out to see them but I don't hate them intensely as so many do.

Leader of men is good but "breathe" is on that album as well. Sounds nothing like they do today

I think you have to differentiate yourself from the rest of the crowd before you can do this. When your original target is the pop charts, you don't have the ability to be a sell out.
