I would be getting Megatron, AP, Charles Clay, and Colston and giving up Welker, Forte, Josh Gordon, and Julius Thomas.

PPR league (1 point per) with bonuses for big plays AND big TD's. Also yardage bonuses at 100 and 200 for WR's and RB's.

I didn't think I would EVER reject a trade that included Megatron and AP but it feels like I should do just that. Megatron is the best WR in the league, but Welker is a stud in this format and is outscoring him by quite a bit. AP is also the best back in the league but Forte is outscoring him because of the PPR. Julius Thomas is heads and shoulders above Clay and the same goes for Gordon over Colston this year.

Help talk me off the ledge because this trade looks so good because of the two big names he's offering me.

Lineup with trade:

QB - Matt Ryan
RB - AP
RB - Charles
WR - Megatron
WR - Rueben Randle/Roddy White/Colston
TE - Clay
Flex - Rueben Randle/Roddy White/Colston
K - Novak
Def - Bengals

Without trade:

QB - Ryan
RB - Charles
RB - Forte
WR - Welker
WR - Gordon
TE - Julius Thomas
Flex - Randle/Roddy
K - Novak
Def - Bengals

The other guy would be an idiot to accept that.

Sorry I thought it said you offered that. Take it

considering its 1pt ppr i don't think i would right now.

welker isn't megatron, but he is solid enough right now and will get his.
AP is better than Forte, but Forte is having a solid year. Chicago's offense is going on all cylinder's and Forte will catch more passes.
Gordon > colston right now.
Thomas >>> Clay

i'd say stay where you are. you MIGHT be upgrading two positions, but you would possibly be downgrading at the other two.

eta: i'd do it if the TE's weren't involved. maybe do it if the WRs weren't involved.

Idk man.

He wants To get rid of Mega because of possible injury, otherwise, wasn't he like the only player behind in points last year behind AP, he isn't someone who gets traded often. Him giving AP could be overreaction.

I don't think you should do it. You leave yourself with questionable wide receiver two and lose Welker who is absolutely going off this year.

Nope. Don't do it

Tough one.

I mean you could have Megatron, AP, and Charles. Thats 3 of the top 5 players IMO.

I'd reject. It seems like he is throwing the big names at you to trick you. Welker, Forte, and Gordon are great in PPR. and Julius>Clay.

This was my initial reaction and was about to accept it.

But then I began to think about i like this. If I accept it gives me great RB's and 1 great WR but leaves me very thin at WR2, TE, and Flex. I'm solid top to bottom right now and I shouldn't do the trade.

He definitely put a very shiny hook out there with Megatron and AP.

AP was his keeper from last year in 2nd round and he took Megatron 1st round.

I wouldn't do it. Gordon and Welker are just too good to let both go for Mega. Gordon's stats look low because he's already missed two games this season. His average, in my leave, is about 17ppg. You can't replace that and Welker with Calvin and Colston.

Then the rest has already been said. Minnesota is about to put in a brand new QB. No telling what things will look like for AP then. Don't get me wrong, he's still great...but you just never know what can happen!

The hook sure looks good, but I wouldn't bite. Your team is better before that trade.

Why would anyone trade away the best two players on their team?!

This actually makes it even easier to turn down. A player can't be kept twice in a row so AP is off the table. Right now my keepers would be Welker (3rd), Gordon (9th), Julius Thomas (16th), Matt Ryan (5th).

Because he would be getting Welker and Forte which would be half a step back but then Julius Thomas and Gordon would both start for him and both are much better than his WR2 and TE right now. It would actually make it team much better overall.

The rest of Calvin's schedule is very favorable bc Detroit still gets to play 4 of the bottom 5 passing defenses in the league (Philly, Dallas, Green Bay, and Minnesota). AP is AP and will be a top 5 back.

But if I were you I would be looking for another QB. Matt Ryan is going to struggle the rest of the season bc their awful Oline, no Julio, a hurt Roddy White, and a hurt Steven Jackson.
