Calling any Ole Miss fans for help.

Usually we tailgate at the baseball field but I've heard campus parking isn't an option this year. Is there a map available of parking areas or can you tell me where the visiting fans setup shop? Thank you.

Everyone I've spoken with suggests parking at the mall and taking the shuttle.

May want to post this on the SECr. Not many Ole Miss fans here I'd wager.

I have posted a couple of links in a couple of different threads. It is the best I have found so far.

What about this whole locking an ice chest deal. What would be the easiest way to go about doing that?

Can you park for the weekend there? Fri night-sunday?

I am not familiar with that rule. I know that you CANNOT walk around with a beer can or bottle, it must be in a cup.

I had heard that as well, My thought was to run a cable lock through the side handles and wrap it around that way.

I've heard of it but cannot confirm. I went in 2005. We made sure to pour drinks into cups and not to draw attention to ourselves. I kept the ice chest in the back of my SUV that I had at the time opening it up when someone needed a beverage.

From the Ole Miss gameday site.
quote:

Know and obey regulations concerning alcohol use. Drinking is illegal for anyone under the age of 21. County law prohibits possession of beer and light wine on most of the campus. Distribution of alcohol without a permit is illegal, and leaving alcohol in plain view or unattended is considered distribution. Thus, unattended tents and coolers are subject to inspection, and alcohol will be confiscated. University policy prohibits abusive drinking, drinking games, and mass or rapid consumption devices (kegs, funnels, shots, etc.). Public intoxication will not be tolerated, and violators are subject to arrest.

Unless you have a fine linen table cloth and a couple of sterling silver candelabras of course.

Sounds like they've "lost the party" when they claim they may lose the game but not the party.
