How much longer till his return??? I kinda agree with Chris Carter as far as the receivers not getting open...

How is Lance Moore with his 4 catches and 44 total yards going to help? The Saints best passing game of the season was without Moore.

EDIT: This isn't to hate on Lance Moore. This is to point out that at points it has been a problem... with or without him. And in my opinion it is because the run game isn't consistent.

Not hard to figure out, Moore weapons. Lance is adept at running a safe route to get a 1st, which is exactly what we needed yesterday.

I don't think Moore is really that good and Colston has to be hurt. It's the only way to describe his lack of production.

This is a huge part of the loss yesterday. Moore gives us that 5-8 yard option when they decide to take away Graham. Also missing Moore helps explain the red zone woes.
We could have really used him to get that one first down.
IMO he would have 6-8 catches yesterday.

All I know Toon and Brees are not on the same page! Toon did not realize a back soulder throw and either Drew just missed a TD or he thought Toon was gona cut back up towards the endzone. Lance will be a welcome addition.

That was on Drew not a back shoulder throw.

Yea I know TD was missed by Brees ' but there was a third and long that he went to Toon in the 1st half that was a mis-communication by somebody . It was on a 3 and out.

Against the dolphins and cardinals of the world we don't really need Moore that much. But in games like yesterday, it would have been huge to have a healthy lance Moore out there.

A couple weeks ago Blues started a thread that had a majority of the board all for trading Moore because we were so deep at receiver...

One thing we know is that Brees has always spread the ball around to the open guy. He's never really forced the ball to a certain guy...until this year. I don't think that's a coincidence. These young guys, while they have bright futures, aren't consistently getting separation. If they were Brees would be going to them, instead of check downs to Sproles and Pierre basically being his number 2 read.

We need Moore's hand and precision on his routes. And while the idea of bringing Meachem back seemed ok at the time, with the exception of the missed PI call against Chicago, he's shown almost zero in the way of stretching defenses like he used to.

It's unbelievable to state our receivers can't get open and Lance would have won it for us. We could certainly use Lance, IMO, but you have to give the Pats all the credit for the job they did o Defense. I was stunned.
