This year is not about winning awards or the Heisman. It's about holding that crystal ball at the end of the season. I couldn't agree more with Cam.

Wouldn't LSU win every game if they had the #1 offense in the country?

But if you have a turn over at the wrong time trying to achieve or maintain that # 1, then you have lost focus of the goal to win.

The number 1 offense almost never wins every game.

Ask Oregon and Baylor about that

That was one of Cam's strengths at Baltimore and it went unappreciated. They won a heck of a lot of games because they played to their defensive strengths and rarely turned the ball over. They weren't necessarily afraid to punt.

I bet Ray Rice wishes Cam was back since their run game is now the worst in the NFL.

I thought the gameplan was genius. Florida prepped for Mett raining passes all over creation, we come out and pound the rock.

It's not glamorous, but imposing your will on another team by running the football effectively is not only demoralizing, but it wears out the opposing defense.

Link?

And it's funny Crowton said something similar after he left but all anyone picked out was the 'it wasn't my offense' part.

I bet he's pissed off on some level. Maybe

Im pleased with the win, but anyone think Les handcuffed Cam, or was Cam all-in on the vanilla gameplan?
